Originally I had decided to specialise in fitting DCC decoders just to Bachmann split chassis locos. However so many customers asked if I could do conventional locos that I now offer these as well.
As there is nearly always less work than with a split chassis loco they are £10 less at £28 (plus return postage).
It is a bit of swings and roundabouts here - some are very straightforward while others are a bit tricky but it would be so complex to have a price for each loco I charge just the one price. This also applies to DCC Ready locos partly because the decoder with a plug costs more and a lot of the work is removing the body (very tricky on some locos) and testing all is well after installation.
All one price £28 including decoder. I use TCS M1 or MC2 decoders. These are excellent decoders with lots of features. Have a look at them on www.tcsdcc.com
